Description:
- Some tracks are greyed out when browsing the Music Library of an iPhone, iPad, or iPod with iMazing.
- Some tracks are greyed out in the Import from iTunes track selection window.
Solution:
Tracks appear in grey because they are not transferable.
When importing from iTunes:
Tracks in grey are already on the device, or are not available because they are stored in the cloud.
When browsing the device's music library:
- Apple Music
These tracks are part of Apple's streaming music service, and cannot be copied to your computer, or to another device. - iCloud Music not downloaded
Since they are not physically on your device, iMazing cannot copy them. These tracks can be iTunes Purchases, iCloud Music Library tracks, or iTunes Match tracks. To transfer them, first download them to your device.
