Backup - "Couldn't start sync session" error

Description:

The following error message appears while backing up your device in iMazing or iTunes.

"Cannot backup your device. Couldn't start sync session"

Solution:

This error message appears when your device pairing records stored on your computer are corrupted.

  1. You need to forget your device in iMazing. To do so right click on your device's in iMazing's sidebar and click "Forget".
  2. Disconnect your device and reconnect it.
  3. Follow pairing steps, that's it!
