iMazing relies on Apple drivers to recognise your device. If iMazing does not recognise your device then it's very likely that your Apple drivers are not up to date.
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
1. Try a different USB port and/or cable. If you usually connect through a USB hub, try connecting your device directly to your computer.
2. Check for software updates (macOS Dock > App Store > Updates)
There may be Apple patches for your version of macOS that fix the issue.
3. Update iTunes (iTunes > Check for updates...)
4. Check whether your iTunes version is compatible with your device's iOS version.

5. On your device, go to: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Location & Privacy
6. Check 3rd party security software
Security software can prevent iMazing from connecting to Apple devices. You might need to temporarily disable or remove your computer's security software.

iPod nano, iPod classic
These iPods works a bit differently than iOS Apple devices - if you are having trouble getting the device to show up in iMazing, please apply the following steps:
1. Try a different USB port and/or cable. If you usually connect through a USB hub, try connecting your device directly to your computer.
2. Enable Disk Use in iTunes
- Open iTunes and make sure your iPod shows up there.
- Once iTunes picks up your iPod, select it and make sure the "Enable Disk Use" check box is checked.
- Restart iMazing, your iPod should now show up after a few seconds.

iPod Shuffle
The iPod Shuffle is only supported on the Windows version of iMazing.
